Along with Vanbarton's development partner, 180 Water Street was converted from an underutilized office building to a 573-unit high-end residential rental building offering a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three- bedroom apartments and 10,000 SF of retail. In order to maximize unit efficiency and take advantage of the property’s superior views, a 30-foot by 40-foot interior courtyard and a four-story rooftop addition were created. The property was sold in October 2017.
