NEW YORK, New York (January 9, 2024) – The healthcare division of Vanbarton Group recently completed the acquisition of three medical office properties totaling 57,600 square feet located in Tucson, Arizona. The properties were all acquired through a sale-leaseback transaction with Banner Health, the largest healthcare provider and private employer in the State of Arizona. Banner Health will continue to lease and occupy each building.
According to Vanbarton Principal Steve Leathers, “The investment illustrates our strategy to find well-utilized medical office buildings located in demographically favorable markets that are positioned to benefit from strong population growth and increased demand for healthcare services.” Steve added, “We continue to close on investments operated by leading healthcare systems and physician practices recognizing the long-term value in a portfolio of stable investments, especially in periods of capital markets volatility.”
